Vietnam’s Vietjet and Dubai’s Emirates have launched an exciting partnership, marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at boosting travel links and expanding route networks between Vietnam and Dubai, UAE. Signed at the Vietnam-UAE Business Forum and attended by Vietnam’s Prime Minister, Pham Minh Chinh, this agreement reflects the airlines’ shared vision to advance tourism and trade connections. By enhancing travel options, the partnership opens new economic doors, fostering exchange and collaboration between Vietnam and the UAE.

Strengthening Global Connectivity Through a Strategic Alliance

This MOU between Vietjet and Emirates represents a pivotal step toward deeper integration within the global aviation sector. Emirates’ extensive international network will now connect passengers to Vietnam’s key cities via Vietjet’s domestic routes, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. In turn, Vietjet passengers gain access to Emirates’ 140-plus global destinations across six continents via Dubai, simplifying bookings and creating an integrated, seamless travel experience.

Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, highlighted the importance of this alliance, remarking, “Vietnam is a market that presents tremendous opportunities to boost tourism and trade. We look forward to growing our footprint in Vietnam with Vietjet and exploring more opportunities to widen the scope of our partnerships in the future.” Kazim’s words underscore the potential this partnership has in bringing Vietnam closer to the global tourism and trade circuit, especially with Emirates’ Dubai hub as a focal point for transit.
