flydubai and Batik Air’s new interline partnership expands global travel options, offering seamless connectivity to top destinations across Asia and beyond.
Dubai’s flydubai and Malaysia’s Batik Air have announced a strategic interline partnership, offering travelers expanded connectivity across their combined networks.
This collaboration enables flydubai passengers to access over 40 destinations through Batik Air’s routes, with smooth connections via Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL), providing seamless travel throughout Southeast Asia and beyond.
Passengers benefit from a streamlined experience, with single booking convenience and through-checked baggage.
flydubai’s customers can now explore a variety of destinations across Southeast Asia, including Hanoi, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Osaka, and Sydney.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership, stating, “We are pleased to add Batik Air to our growing list of partners, enhancing our passengers’ travel experience with convenient access to new destinations on a modern fleet with excellent service.
This partnership supports Dubai’s position as a thriving aviation hub and offers our passengers more opportunities to explore Southeast Asia and beyond.”
Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy, CEO of Batik Air, emphasized the agreement’s role in strengthening global travel ties, saying, “By combining the networks of Batik Air and flydubai, we’re providing travelers with easier access to a wide array of destinations and reinforcing Malaysia’s connectivity with global markets.”
In turn, Batik Air travelers gain access to 38 additional destinations in Africa, Central Asia, Europe, the GCC, and the Middle East through flydubai, opening pathways to vibrant cities like Entebbe, Istanbul, Milan-Bergamo, Prague, and Zagreb.
Since early 2024, flydubai has enhanced its presence in Malaysia, operating daily flights to Langkawi and Penang, served by a fleet of 88 modern Boeing 737s.
flydubai’s Business Class passengers enjoy personalized service with global cuisine, a variety of entertainment options, and enhanced seating, while Economy Class offers comfort with optimized space.
Currently, flydubai operates to over 125 destinations in 55 countries, introducing new routes that strengthen direct links to Dubai and the UAE.
The interline partnership with Batik Air supports flydubai’s mission to boost tourism and trade, enhancing global travel accessibility and convenience.
