Etihad’s new service to Al Alamein will operate twice a week, with flights on Thursdays and Sundays, utilizing modern A320 aircraft equipped to offer comfort across both Business and Economy classes. Each flight will feature eight Business Class seats and 150 Economy seats, ensuring passengers can experience Etihad’s award-winning hospitality. On October 27, 2024, the airline marked a milestone by welcoming its first Airbus A350 to Toronto Pearson Airport, introducing state-of-the-art design and comfort to its daily services between Abu Dhabi and Toronto. Etihad is focused on ensuring a smooth travel experience for U.S.-bound passengers with its new Customs and Border Protection facility in Abu Dhabi, which expedites the immigration process. Additionally, Etihad’s complimentary stopover program offers travelers up to two free nights at premium hotels in Abu Dhabi, giving them an opportunity to experience the emirate’s attractions before heading to their final destination.

Etihad Airways also celebrated a strategic deal with Sanad, a leading aerospace engineering firm, to acquire 16 advanced aircraft engines valued at approximately AED 1.5 billion ($408.4 million).
