Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism partners with Air Expo 2024, highlighting the city’s growing role as a premier MICE destination in the region.

Set to take place from November 19-21 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), Air Expo 2024 will spotlight Abu Dhabi’s emerging prominence as a premier hub for Meetings, Incentives, Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector in the region.
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has been appointed as the Official Destination Partner for Air Expo 2024, reflecting its crucial role in facilitating key MICE events across the region.

Mubarak Al Shamsi, Director of the Abu Dhabi Convention & Exhibition Bureau ADCEB, said: “We are proud to partner with Air Expo 2024, offering a premier platform for innovation, knowledge exchange, and development in this exciting sector. As we welcome enthusiasts and experts from around the globe, we aim for the event to further showcase Abu Dhabi’s unmatched destination offering and its vast potential as a world-class host for large-scale MICE events, delivering success and value for all involved.”

Widely recognized as a top-tier aviation exhibition, Abu Dhabi Air Expo is projected to attract over 20,000 professionals from the global aviation and aerospace industries. The event will showcase cutting-edge advancements in aviation technology, including a dedicated segment on Advanced Air Mobility, highlighting the latest progress in urban air transport, drone innovation, and sustainable aviation solutions.

As the Official Destination Partner, DCT Abu Dhabi aims to foster new partnerships, further positioning Abu Dhabi as a leading destination for business, tourism, and investment. This partnership aligns with DCT Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030, which aspires to elevate visitor numbers from nearly 24 million in 2023 to 39.3 million by 2030, alongside creating approximately 178,000 new jobs within the tourism sector.
